I love when companies throw these ratings around. ip57 literally means it wont break it if you splash it and that it can handle dust to the extend that a house is dusty...and that's about it, but IP57 sure sounds impressive, right?

If it works with my phone, I'll at least consider getting one. They look pretty cool, and I've been wanting to get in on this whole 'smartwatch' thing. I don't give a monkey's about the fitness tracking, though.

Actually it offers a bit more protection than just a splash of water:
Ingress Protection:
5 — Protected against dust limited ingress (no harmful deposit).
7 — Protected against the effect of immersion between 15 cm and 1 m."

IP57 means it should be able to be dropped into water less than a meter deep. I sure wouldn't trust that, though...
